IceWeb conference 2019 will be held 22nd of February from 13-17 o'clock
SVEF members are:
SVEF's members are around 300 but come from various fields of the web industry. Joining SVEF is open to all and the members fee is set at a minimum, as SVEF does not need to return a profit.
Exciting events all year long!
SVEF has the goal of communicating knowledge within the web industry and serves breakfast and lunch meetings, as parties from the web sector discuss various issues. Also, a rather informal SVEF evening is held to meet and strengthen the network. SVEF is hosting the IceWeb conference and of course the Icelandic web prizes.

Keynote speakers
This year's keynote speakers are Brad Frost and Magga Dóra.
Brad Frost is a web designer, speaker, writer, and consultant. He is the author of the book Atomic Design, which introduces a methodology to create and maintain effective design systems.
Magga Dóra has worked in digital product development since before the millenium, both in Iceland and abroad. She has a background in psychology and always puts the users first so their experience is successful and delightful.
Atomic Design
Atomic Design details all that goes into creating and maintaining robust design systems, allowing you to roll out higher quality, more consistent UIs faster than ever before. This book introduces a methodology for thinking of our UIs as thoughtful hierarchies, discusses the qualities of effective pattern libraries, and showcases techniques to transform your team's design and development workflow.

The IceWeb conference will be held on Friday the 22nd of February 2019 from 1-5 pm at Hilton Reykjavik Nordica. Keynote speakers will be Brad Frost and Magga Dóra.
